December 19/2014-Ottawa Food Bank donation (Local 8327, 9597)

Thank you again for the wonderful and generous donation to the Ottawa Food Bank, so appreciated and so thankful to have partners like USW! It’s good to let your colleagues know that for every $1 donated to us we can generate $5 worth of food that gets distributed to our agencies citywide.

Merry Christmas to all and thank you again.
Patti

BMO-February 16/2012
There was a great event held yesterday in support of our striking members at Infinity Rubber. As you know, members of USW Local 526 have been on strike for over two years now, and we are holding the Bank of Montreal responsible for dragging out the strike by funding the employer.

As well, on behalf of the Field ‘er Up team, we’d like to express our sincere thanks to Richard Laurin for doing a great job with the organization of the tournament.

Anyone who’s ever run a team, or tournament, or organized a large event, knows full well the amount of time and hard work needed to do it. It’s not always stress-free, and we think you did an outstanding job, Richard!

We hope everything went as smoothly as possible.

Thanks again, EVERYONE!!!  J

Thank you so much once again for a great two days of ball. You went out of your way to make it fun for all and we the Average Joes had a great time. Without volunteers like yourself these things do not run as smooth. We look forward to next years tournament.

Thanks again and see you next year.
